Digital Campus Branch Directorate
The Digital Campus Branch Directorate is responsible for ensuring that distance and digitally supported education activities carried out at the university are conducted effectively, sustainably, and securely. Within this scope, its duties and responsibilities are listed below:
- Providing the necessary information technology support to instructional designers, software and system specialists, educational technologists, audio-visual-video-animation designers, and relevant units.
- Within the scope of Learning Management System (LMS) administration, managing educational processes through the e-learning systems used at the university, providing technical support to users, and delivering training.
- Carrying out preparations for the new academic term, archiving courses from previous terms, performing system version upgrades, and managing interfaces, web services, and plugin integrations of integrated systems.
- Managing user accounts for applications used in online courses, tracking license reservations, conducting software development activities, and providing technical support to users.
- Providing technical support for cloud systems that enable asynchronous recording of online courses and reporting usage statistics.
- Providing user support within the scope of the Online Examination System.
- Managing accounts for e-learning, cloud, and video conferencing applications within the scope of assigned authority.
- Performing other duties assigned within the framework of applicable legislation and relevant directives.
