Software Branch Directorate

The Software Branch Directorate is responsible for supporting the university’s digital transformation, developing software projects, and ensuring that existing software systems are operated effectively, securely, and sustainably. Within this scope, its duties and responsibilities are listed below:

  • Designing and developing software projects in order to save time, manpower, and production costs through the use of information technologies.
  • Analyzing the current state of application software, determining requirements, and performing updates on existing or additional software.
  • Conducting status analyses of system software related to operating systems, system management, and security; identifying current and future needs.
  • Performing gap analyses between the current and target states of deployed software and reporting integration structures.
  • Providing solution proposals for application software decided to be developed or updated.
  • Ensuring uninterrupted publication of the university’s websites, defining content standards, and managing design processes.
  • Conducting analysis studies for projects, creating application models and database designs, and preparing user documentation.
  • Producing solutions for software-related issues encountered during use.
  • Providing training and preparing user manuals for websites and software developed for university units.
  • Performing other duties assigned within the framework of applicable legislation and relevant directives.
