The Account Management System, where users can manage their bogazici.edu.tr accounts, has been updated. In accordance with our Information Security Management policies, the following changes have been implemented:

• Users are required to create a strong password consisting of at least 8 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

• Password validity period has been updated to 6 months.

• Users are notified via e-mail and SMS 15 days before the expiration of their password.

• Users are prevented from reusing their last 3 passwords to mitigate the risk of data breaches.

• Users are allowed to change their password only once per day.
