In accordance with the decision of the University Executive Board’s meeting dated 22.03.2023 and numbered 2023-08, e-mail addresses with @boun.edu.tr extension have been updated as follows:

• @bogazici.edu.tr for academic and administrative personnel,

• @std.bogazici.edu.tr for students,

• @retired.bogazici.edu.tr for retired academic personnel,

• @alum.bogazici.edu.tr for alumni,

• @pt.bogazici.edu.tr for temporary (part-time, research) academic personnel.

All currently used accounts having @boun.edu.tr addresses will be closed for e-mail sending operations on February 1, 2024.

The current active mailboxes with @boun.edu.tr were synchronized with the mailboxes with @bogazici.edu.tr as a result of our work. You can access both e-mail accounts from a single mailbox: https://bumail.bogazici.edu.tr.

You can access the guides about the transition to @bogazici.edu.tr email extensions at: https://bilgiislem.bogazici.edu.tr/tr/kullanim-kilavuzlari.

Note: For graduate students, only a forwarding account is defined and no mailbox is provided. With the transition to the bogazici extension, only the e-mail addresses that were previously @alumni.boun.edu.tr were updated to @alum.bogazici.edu.tr.
