Duties and Responsibilities
The Software Department is a technical unit responsible for developing, managing, and sustaining the university’s software and web infrastructure. The core duties carried out by the Software Department are grouped under the following headings.
Digital Project Development
Designing and implementing software projects that provide time, workforce, and cost efficiency through information technologies.
Requirements & Situation Analysis
Analyzing the current state of application software, identifying needs, and producing new or updated solutions.
System Software Management
Analyzing current and future requirements for operating systems, system management, and security components, and resolving potential issues.
Integration & Gap Analysis
Analyzing differences between existing systems and target structures, defining integration models, and reporting results.
Solution & Improvement Proposals
Providing technical solution proposals for applications planned to be developed or updated.
Corporate Web Publishing
Ensuring continuity of university websites, defining content standards, and providing design and software support.
Application & Database Design
Conducting project analyses, creating application models and database designs, and preparing usage documentation.
Training & User Support
Providing training to units for developed websites and applications and preparing user manuals.
Other Duties Within Legal Framework
Carrying out other assigned duties within the scope of applicable legislation and directives.
